E24 Int. Interfaith Dialogue & the Gift of Trials with Robyn Lebron

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]“Disagree in an agreeable fashion.” That’s one of interfaith author and champion Robyn Lebron’s mantras. She sees the beauty in all faiths and wants to create open, interfaith dialogue to explore that beauty in a spirit of understanding and peace.

If the golden rule, charity, love – or any other positive philosophy – is on your personal path of growth or spirit, or you are simply curious about the world’s religions, today’s show is for you. Let Robyn’s mission, personal story, and views on trials and suffering inspire your life and search.

  1. It was nice to hear Robyn speak in person, after so many interactions at linkedin’s Interfaith Professionals group. Robyn had probably just taken up the challenge at that time, and was my first connection there, I think. I’d been sitting on the sidelines reading and reading and eventually found the courage to respond and with Robyn’s encouragement, to leap into the fray. That Robyn’s taking time out living in the woods is news to me, but I hope she owns a good ol rockin chair, as she takes in the sun on her front verandah. She will have earned it if she’s brought in all the wood for winter; you are warmed twice if you cut your own wood.

I’ve read Volume 1 of Robyn’s “The Search for Peace in Times of Chaos”. It is well worth the read. But having corresponded with nearly all and sundry along with Robyn these last years, I’m hoping that Robyn will bring me Volume 2 signed and personally delivered, when she’s made enough to take a holiday – but after she’s spoken at the 7th Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto this November….

I send all of my best wishes, from the Land of Aus, downunder….
